Job Description

Our client is seeking a PowerBuilder developer on a contract basis to work on their enterprise work management system.

Location: Hybrid Toronto

Duration: 6 months + 6 month extension

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, test and implement technology solutions.
• Communicate with business stakeholders and/or system analysts to determine features, requirements, and solution design.
• Analyze the existing functionalities of PowerBuilder system by reviewing code and Oracle stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues as needed.
• Manage, deliver and ensure quality outputs and deliverables using appropriate methodology.
• Report on status, risks, success criteria as required related to work assignments.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Experience in leading application design, development, and implementation of PowerBuilder application (PowerBuilder version 2019 or higher).
• Extensive experience in data analysis and queries using Oracle PL/SQL code techniques, data migration, ETL processes, and performance optimization in Oracle 19c or higher.
• Experience in the development of large-scale, heavily integrated technology solutions for all stages of the System Development Lifecycle and following enterprise application integration best practices.

This is a contract-based role requiring expertise in PowerBuilder and Oracle technologies.
