Now Hiring: Part-Time Social Media Content Creator (5-10 hrs/week)

Be the face and the brains behind our content! We’re looking for a creative, camera-ready content creator to help take Nixa Hardware’s social media to the next level. This part-time role (about 10 hours/week) is perfect for someone who can film short-form videos and plan, edit, and schedule them with a strategy in mind.

Responsibilities

• Come into the store weekly to film Reels or short videos.
• Be on-camera to highlight products, promos, and small-town fun.
• Edit videos, write captions, and schedule posts.
• Pitch fresh ideas that match trends and our brand personality.
• Create engaging content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media management.

Requirements

• Have experience with short-form video and social media editing apps.
• Are confident, creative, and comfortable being on camera.
• Know what’s trending and how to grab attention.
• Can work independently and bring ideas to the table.
• Are a self-starter with ideas, energy, and editing skills.
