Job Description
Unite Students is seeking a Midweight UX/UI Designer for a 12 month contract based in Bristol. The role focuses on crafting user experiences and entails collaborating with a dedicated UX team to develop innovative digital solutions. You will report to a Senior UX/UI Designer and work closely with a UX Researcher to validate design assumptions and ensure insights ground solutions. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, creating user journey maps, defining information architecture, and designing user interfaces.
Requirements
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in UX/UI or product design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing web design skills.
- Proven ability to communicate design processes and solutions effectively.
- Proficiency in building low and high-fidelity UX/UI flows and prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Protopie.
- Practical understanding of accessibility requirements.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Collaborative, good communicator, and strong problem-solver.
Desirable:
- Experience working on B2C products with a focus on transaction and conversion.
- Familiarity with back-end system integration with consumer-facing platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in hospitality, travel, or related B2C domains.
