About the Role: Our CIO is seeking a content creator to join our core IT team. This contract role is for an initial three months, with the possibility of extension. It will be a remote position, ideal for someone in the UK or the US.

Requirements

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Exceptional attention to detail for formatting, grammar, and style consistency
• Proficiency with document editing tools (Google Docs, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with content management systems (Confluence, Monday.com)
• Familiarity with markup languages (HTML, Markdown, Confluence macros)
• Basic quality assurance for content accuracy and functionality

It’s a bonus if you have the following:

• Scientific bench experience (wet lab, biomedical, chemistry)
• Familiarity with LIMS, ELN, or medical diagnostic software
• Understanding of technical documentation structure
• Teaching or educational experience (STEM focus preferred)
• LMS experience (Seismic/Lessonly or similar platforms)

Additional Valuable Skills:

• Video editing basics
• Slide design principles
• Basic instructional design awareness
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines
• Collaboration and effective teamwork
