This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, implementing, and executing manual and automated test strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products across web and mobile platforms.

This role requires a passion for detail, a proactive approach to quality ownership, and deep knowledge of modern testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) for both frontend and backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to identify, log, and track bugs and improvements.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
  • Drive and maintain Continuous Testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive defect reports and test documentation.
  • Identify quality risks early in the development process and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings to champion quality practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Strong skills in API testing (Postman, Insomnia, REST-assured) and API automation scripting.
  • Experience testing across web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, Python) for writing automated tests.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
