Digital Marketer is needed in United States.

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (New York, NY – EST)

Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours per week

Join a well-established beauty and wellness salon in the heart of New York City as they expand their digital presence. With a strong local reputation, they’re now focused on growing online and are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Assistant to support this journey. The ideal candidate will have solid SEO experience, along with general digital marketing and website management skills, to help improve the salon’s online visibility and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize on-page and technical SEO strategies (using tools like AIOSEO or Rank Math)
  • Track and report website traffic, user behavior, and SEO performance using Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Suggest and implement improvements for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Manage and optimize the Google Business Profile and location-based SEO
  • Conduct basic competitor research and provide strategic recommendations
  • Update and manage website content, including blog posts and service pages
  • Create simple graphics using Canva for web and social media
  • Support various digital marketing initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of both on-page and technical SEO
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
  • Comfortable making basic HTML/CSS edits
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be available to work within EST (New York) business hours

Nice to Have

  • Background in digital marketing for service-based or local businesses
  • Experience with CRO strategies and user experience optimization
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Klaviyo
  • Experience with WordPress, especially using Elementor and managing content
