Job Description
This role is positioned within the in-house communications facilities of large corporations, focusing on the operation of video recording and specialized camera equipment. The candidate will be responsible for determining filming sequences and camera movements, composing shots, and ensuring the proper functioning of video production equipment.
Requirements
Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field, with 1 to 4 production credits.
Skills: Ability to operate video recording equipment, adjust focus and exposure, complete production reports, and maintain equipment. Strong attention to detail and the capability to distinguish between colors is crucial.
Work Environment: The role is hybrid, requiring adaptability to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The candidate must be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as stand for extended periods.
Transportation: Own transportation is required as travel expenses will not be paid by the employer.
Personal Suitability: The candidate should exhibit dependability, accuracy, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent oral communication abilities. Being a team player is essential.
