Job Description

Lakshya Digital, a part of Keywords Studios, is a leading provider of Game Art services to the global games industry. With over 800 employees and contributions to more than 150 AAA titles across all major platforms and genres, Lakshya is known not only for its high-quality work but also for its best-in-class processes. The studio is growing rapidly and has locations in India (Gurgaon, Bangalore, and Pune) as well as teams in the US, UK, Japan, and the Philippines.

The studio works on multiple exciting projects, including notable IPs like Diablo Resurrected, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Halo Infinite, and many more. We are looking for an experienced Senior Narrative Designer to join our team. This is a fully remote 6-month Freelance contract starting in June 2025, with the possibility of extension for another 6-12 months. The candidate must be able to work within the UK time zone hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a narrative designer, writing and implementing dialogue to support the player journey
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience with in-game dialogue systems
  • Ability to write and implement in-game dialogue, barks, and supporting text
  • Comfortable collaborating with writers and designers to shape story arcs and narrative beats
  • Familiarity with maintaining and evolving narrative design documentation
  • Strong understanding of tone, voice, and thematic consistency
  • Able to connect narrative to gameplay through design alignment
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable working across disciplines
