Job Description

As a Senior Content Designer & Retoucher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual direction and output of our brand. Leading the creative design process, you will oversee the creation of engaging digital content, from graphics and videos to print assets and packaging design. Your expertise in image retouching will ensure the highest quality visual standards across all channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing creative leadership while maintaining a strong focus on brand consistency and innovation.

In this dynamic, multifaceted role, you will have the opportunity to influence the creative direction of the business, mentor a junior designer, and bring your ideas to life in a collaborative environment. Your work will have a direct impact on our brand’s visual identity and its success across both digital and physical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Content Design: Oversee and work on the development and execution of creative content across various channels.
• Video & Motion Content: Edit and produce engaging video content for digital marketing and social media.
• Retouching: Enhance and retouch product and lifestyle imagery, ensuring high-quality visuals.
• Packaging Design: Lead the creative process for packaging design from concept to production.
• AI & Design Tools: Leverage AI-driven tools to streamline workflows and improve creative output.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs reflect the brand’s identity and voice.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Work closely with various departments to ensure high standards for all projects.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality control process for accurate delivery of designs.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 5 years of experience in the fashion or lifestyle sector with a strong portfolio.
• Proven experience in packaging design, with a solid understanding of printing techniques.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
• Video editing experience with a portfolio showing motion graphics and digital content.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent retouching skills.
• Excellent knowledge of brand identity and maintaining visual consistency.
• Familiarity with AI design tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital asset management systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience in 3D packaging design and/or motion graphics.

• This is a part-time position requiring 3 days per week, ideally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in our Chiswick office, London.
• Flexible hours: start between 8am-10am and finish between 4pm-6pm.
• Work from home days may be possible based on work commitments.
• Legal authorization to work in the UK is required.
• Portfolio submission is mandatory along with your CV; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
