Job Description

We are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Web Designer to join our in-house web team at Ideagen. This role is based in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, and is suitable for a Team Leader/Professional. The position follows a Hybrid working pattern, requiring three days a week in the head office. You will work on a variety of web projects and landing pages, taking them from initial design brief through to wireframing, design, and build. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with the web developer and in-house design team, as well as with wider teams throughout the Marketing department.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of an in-house web team while reporting to the Web Design Manager.
• Design and build CMS components and templates, landing pages, and general web page layouts based on knowledge and data.
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines in every project.
• Generate innovative ideas and concepts that are accurate and of high quality.
• Identify opportunities to optimise web pages based on data insights.

Skills and Experience

• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS (including Sass), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) with experience in Figma.
• Familiarity with GIT version control and CMS pipeline deployment.
• Experience designing CMS components/templates with knowledge of UX/UI principles.
• Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and basic SEO/web accessibility principles.
• Portfolio showcasing design skills required.
• Familiarity with JavaScript.
• Experience with Magnolia and HubSpot CMSs.
• Understanding of web analytics, including Google Analytics.
