Job Description
Mid-Senior Java Developer - 6 month contract - Newcastle based - start ASAP. This role will involve software development across multiple microservices.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- .Java Spring & Maven, Backend/AP, NodeJS & NPM (Full stack), HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices and techniques
- Knowledge and experience of APIs (Open API, Swagger), RESTful services and Microservice Architectures
- AWS and Azure, and container-based technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
- SQL and NoSQL, database applications such as Postgres, MySQL and MongoDB

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week onsite in Newcastle)
