Role Overview: In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI models and data-driven solutions. You will spend several days a week working collaboratively in our Ballarat office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to drive data insights.
• Analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Optimise and scale data science projects to improve efficiency and performance.
• Research and apply new technologies to enhance our AI capabilities.
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting of processes and project progress.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Proven experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical modelling, and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
