Job Description
JAOLA is a small but growing community-driven company offering in-home care, document support, and custom web services. We blend grassroots support with tech innovation to serve people often left behind. We are seeking a freelance web designer + automation assistant to support current and future client projects. This includes building small websites (in HTML, WordPress, or similar platforms), customizing form tools, and creating clean digital workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and update simple, responsive websites
- Build online forms, payment pages, and email integrations
- Assist with automation projects using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, or no-code tools
- Maintain consistency in branding and accessibility
- Communicate clearly and meet flexible, project-based deadlines
Requirements
- Freelancers, self-taught devs, or CS/web design students
- People with an eye for visual layout AND logic
- Creatives who can work with Canva, HTML, CSS, or WordPress
- Bonus: Experience with form builders (JotForm, Google Forms, etc.), automation (Zapier, Airtable, Google Apps Script)
