Job Description

LaSalle Network is looking to hire a freelance/contract Graphic Designer with strong expertise in PowerPoint presentation design and experience using AI-powered design tools to support one of our clients in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for layout, typography, and storytelling, and be comfortable blending traditional design skills with emerging technologies to elevate visual communications. This is an ongoing contract opportunity with part-time hours. The candidate must reside in Chicago and be willing to go onsite at least once a week.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that align with brand standards and business goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand content and messaging for effective visual storytelling.
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Canva AI, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance and accelerate design workflows.
• Create graphics, templates, icons, and visual assets for use across presentations and digital content.
• Maintain consistency in branding across all design materials.
• Stay current on design trends and emerging AI technologies to continuously elevate output.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing PowerPoint or Keynote design projects.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools and willingness to explore new platforms.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
