Job Description

Betches Media is seeking a creative, skilled, and humorous college-based creator to produce content for their Gen Z vertical, Send Help. This role is not a typical social media position; it involves generating engaging and relatable content for 14 hours a week, capturing the highs and lows of college life. The ideal candidate will be familiar with trends, obsessed with pop culture, and able to make various college experiences entertaining through original videos and posts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce, shoot, edit, and appear in original Send Help videos (sketches, reels, TikToks, etc.)
• Craft in-feed posts and memes about the college experience
• Source, edit, attain permission for, and schedule curated content
• Brainstorm and create trending lifestyle, political, and pop culture content
• Ideate content series for Send Help on IG, YouTube, and TikTok

Requirements

• Experience in creating content for Instagram and TikTok
• Talent for producing, shooting, and editing videos
• Comfortable appearing/acting in videos
• Passionate about college life with an interest in creating college-focused content
• Strong ability to execute quick, low-lift social videos
• Knowledge and interest in pop culture, trends, and politics/news
• Proficiency in Canva
• Fluency in the culture of social media
• Must be currently enrolled in college and deeply familiar with campus life
• Applicants must share a link to a TikTok or Reel showcasing their work related to the college experience, highlighting their humor and creativity.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25/hour for up to 14 hours per week.
