Job Description

Shootday, a global photography, videography, and production platform, is seeking talented event photographers to join its freelance network in Seattle, Washington. As an event photographer, you will capture memorable moments at various events and deliver high-quality raw images that tell compelling visual stories.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Capturing high-quality RAW photos on time (editing is handled by the company).
• Covering diverse events, including corporate functions, product launches, and social gatherings.
• Capturing key moments, candid shots, and the ambiance of the events.
• Adapting your approach to each event’s unique needs.
• Collaborating with other photographers as needed.
• Using professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment.
• Guiding participants and setting up shots for optimal results.
• Communicating effectively with clients and the Shootday team.

Requirements

The requirements for this role are:

• Proven experience in event photography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to get to event locations.
• A team player who works well with others when needed.
• A photography degree or equivalent experience.
• Be located in or able to commute to the specified location.
• Have legal authorization to work in the specified location.
• Own and maintain your photography gear.
