About the Company: Wareworks is a staffing agency providing dependable labor solutions to warehouses and manufacturers across the U.S. We’re building a simple, professional website to enhance our online presence, not for lead generation, but to provide clear, accessible company information to clients and candidates.

Project Overview: We’re seeking a skilled WordPress Web Developer to create a clean, responsive, and user-friendly informational website. The site will have 45 core pages and use our existing domain and WordPress hosting. You’ll work closely with our internal team to ensure alignment with the brand and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a responsive WordPress website based on project specs.
  • Create pages: Home, Services, About, Contact, and Locations.
  • Implement a basic contact form and potentially link to an existing online job application portal.
  • Apply brand assets including logo and color scheme.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and modern, professional design (inspired by s-a-works.com).
  • Optimize for basic performance and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with our team and provide progress updates.

Requirements

Proven experience building WordPress websites.

Strong skills in front-end development (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).

Familiarity with WordPress themes and page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg).

Ability to follow design references and brand guidelines.

Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

Ability to deliver within a short project timeline.

Additional Information

The role is aimed at creating an informational website, and the project is expected to last for approximately 24 weeks with an immediate start. Collaboration with the internal team is essential to ensure the website meets brand and business objectives.
