Job Description

321 is a creative marketing agency using strategic data to create meaningful moments that connect, inspire, and engage. We seek a freelance/contract Social Media Content Creator to supplement our team by developing and executing content for various social platforms. This role includes planning, creating, and curating compelling visuals, video, and written content while monitoring trends and analytics to optimize engagement. Collaboration with our in-house creative and strategy teams is essential to deliver content that resonates with target audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative, on-brand content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Plan, shoot, and edit video and photo content for client campaigns.
• Collaborate on engaging captions and posts aligned with each brand’s tone and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
• Work with the strategy team to align content with campaign goals and optimize performance.
• Analyze content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and social media best practices while working within budget and timeline constraints.
• Distill client feedback to make necessary adjustments to projects.
• Collaborate with project-associated departments, including Creative, to deliver quality posts.
• Bring innovative ideas and regularly research emerging trends to refine social initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Expertise in content creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro).
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and their content specifications.
• Strong photography and videography skills, with a good eye for design and detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills.
• Preferred: Background in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in a creative or advertising agency setting.

Compensation

Negotiable. Hourly or monthly rate dependent on experience and needs.
