Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Application Developer for contract work and development of a specific app. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for creating efficient, high-quality applications. This role is essential in driving our projects forward, particularly in the realm of app development, where you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications based on project requirements and specifications.

• Collaborate with the owner to define, design, and ship new features.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Maintain and improve existing applications by analyzing user feedback and implementing necessary updates.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance application functionality and user experience.

• Document development processes, code changes, and application features for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar role in software development.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.

• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively within the owner’s vision on non-app/computer background and develop the product while being self-motivated.

• Experience in Discovery & UX Planning, UI/UX Design, App Development, Portal Development, Q7A Testing, Deployment, and Debugging.

Additional Information

This is contract work for the development of an app which may lead to backend maintenance work but is not a permanent position.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
