Job Description
Title: Email Lead (Strategist)
Duration: 6 + months contract-to-hire
Job Location: Remote, preferably New York, NY or Bridgewater, NJ
This newly created role is critical within our global marketing operations function and will work with the Director of Email and Marketing Automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness of our email marketing and marketing automation channel. The Global Brand and Marketing organization aims to be a customer-centric and data-driven growth engine, contributing to enterprise value, efficiency, and capability maturity.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4-6 years of project management across multiple teams. Ability to meet with multiple stakeholders and document requirements.
- Experience managing intake for marketing channels, potentially supporting multiple channels.
- Prior experience with email and automation platforms; must be knowledgeable with automation platforms.
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly while managing shifting priorities and deadlines.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience project managing internal teams, planning and developing campaigns based on outlined playbooks.
- 4-6+ years of professional experience managing multi-channel marketing automated campaigns.
- Experience with email automation tools preferred; familiarity with Marketo for B2B and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign is a plus.
- Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Agile Marketing experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to change.
- Self-sufficient high performer focused on team success.
- Experience in insurance and/or financial services is a significant plus.
Additional Information
Key Relationships:
This role reports to the Director, Email and Marketing Automation, with key stakeholders including Regional Marketing teams across EMEA, Asia, LATAM, and various marketing and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will manage and execute multi-channel marketing automation and email programs, including:
- Gathering email campaign requirements across internal businesses.
- Managing email intake and requests to ensure compliance with build and deployment requirements.
- Project managing B2B and B2C email and marketing automated campaigns based on stakeholder requirements.
- Implementing campaign automation playbooks and working with stakeholders to execute based on business needs.
- Advising on best practices to drive customer engagement based on global campaign insights.
- Leading governance programs for platform performance and data hygiene.
- Monitoring and updating email campaign playbooks.
- Documenting campaign performance metrics including ROI and engagement rates.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Organizing monthly overviews and learning sessions to optimize programs and platforms.
Compensation:
Pay is between $50.00 - $58.00 per hour, with expected hours of 40 per week and a schedule of 8-hour shifts.
