Job Description

We are looking for a talented and innovative Freelance Web Designer to help us redesign our existing website, www.neweraindustries.com, to feature an enhanced product showcase and a more user-friendly interface. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating visually stunning websites that improve user engagement and experience. As a Web Designer, you will work closely with developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to craft and implement web solutions that align with our business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio that showcases your design work.
  • Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices in digital design.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of typography principles and their application in web design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop an engaging, responsive website that incorporates a broader range of product SKUs, drawing inspiration from example sites such as www.ciamedical.com.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into effective web designs that meet user needs.
  • Utilize design tools like Adobe Illustrator, UXPin, and Axure to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for the redesigned site.
  • Implement typography best practices to ensure that all content is both readable and aesthetically appealing across various digital platforms.
  • Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to bring your designs to life, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  • Stay current on digital design trends, particularly in e-commerce and digital marketing, to bring innovative ideas into our projects.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously enhance website functionality and user experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
