Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that effectively communicates complex information to various audiences. This role requires a strong ability to research, edit, and proofread technical content while collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Proficiency in word processing software; familiarity with Visio is a plus.
• Strong research skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear documentation.
• Excellent editing and proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality content.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Duties

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and online help systems.
• Conduct thorough research to gather information from various sources, ensuring all content is accurate and up-to-date.
• Utilize Visio for creating diagrams and flowcharts that enhance the understanding of complex processes.
• Edit and proofread documents for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback and evolving product features.
