Job Description

Piper Companies is looking for a Healthcare Technical Writer to join a healthcare and hospital system company. This position is based in Columbia, MD and offers a hybrid onsite schedule, with some weeks remote and some weeks onsite for a couple of days.

Essential Duties

• Bridge the gap between complex healthcare IT solutions and C-suite executives.
• Content Creation & Design: Develop polished and professional materials, including PowerPoint presentations, white papers, marketing collateral, and website content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
• Technical Translation: Engage with engineers, product teams, and end users to translate complex healthcare IT solutions into easily digestible narratives for executives, stakeholders, and customers.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in a technical writing, content strategy, graphic design, technical marketing, or communications role, ideally within healthcare or technology.
• Experience documenting complex systems/processes.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, user-friendly content.
• Healthcare or enterprise system experience preferred.

Compensation

• $90,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
