Job Description

We are hiring for a Supervisor of SQL/ETL Development who will manage a team responsible for designing and building applications primarily in SQL Server and Azure. This position involves overseeing the development of front-end applications, database development, and middle-tier services, leading to high-quality, on-time software releases while leveraging agile and DevOps practices. The role requires collaboration with the Line of Business and the VP of Engineering to determine priorities, capacity, and project velocity.

Requirements

• Experience:
• 3-5 years in a team leadership position
• 5-10 years in SQL Server, database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• 5-10 years in SQL Server/ETL Development including T-SQL, SSIS, ADF, and SSRS
• Deployment of .NET apps to IIS and/or Azure App Service
• Deployment of pipelines to Azure Data Factories (ADF)
• Azure DevOps or similar and Git knowledge (required)
• Experience with Azure SQL databases is highly desirable
• Experience with Azure Postgres databases is a plus
• Experience in mortgage technology (preferred)
• Experience with both relational and non-relational database systems
• Skills:
• Proven hands-on experience developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Familiarity with Agile Environments, SCRUM, Kanban etc.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently with a strong focus on achieving tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure understanding of all requirements
