Job Description

Seeking a filmmaker to record a symposium on July 24 and 25 in Berkeley. This is a temporary contract job to film the speakers and then upload the content to YouTube. You should have your own audio visual equipment and be able to deliver videos with titles uploaded to YouTube. We are looking for a creative and passionate Filmmaker to join our dynamic team, responsible for bringing stories to life through compelling visuals and engaging narratives.

Requirements

Duties:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute film projects from start to finish.
  • Operate cameras and other filming equipment during shoots.
  • Edit video footage using software such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborate with writers, directors, and other team members to ensure the vision of each project is achieved.
  • Manage content through various content management systems.
  • Incorporate 3D animation and graphics into films as needed.
  • Maintain organized files and archives of all video projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.

Experience:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Bridge, Adobe Premiere, Avid, and other video editing software is essential.
  • Experience in videography and post-production processes is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
