Job Description
We are seeking passionate, high-energy, and dynamic individuals to join our team as a coding tutor (Code Sensei). As a Code Sensei, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students on a variety of STEM and coding topics. Positions available in Gulf Breeze. New center to open July. Training to start right away.
Camps Topics to Include, but not limited to:
- Minecraft: Modding, coding, MCreator and/or Redstone
- Roblox and/or Roblox Studio
- Game Design in Scratch and/or Microsoft MakeCode Arcade-Block-based coding and Java
- Unity, C#

Responsibilities
- Training: in-person and online training provided.
- Deliver engaging content to camp participants.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where campers feel encouraged to explore and innovate.
- Lead group discussions, demonstrations, and interactive sessions to enhance campers’ understanding.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities.
- Collaborate with other instructors and camp staff to coordinate daily schedules and events.
- Provide feedback and support to campers as they work on projects.
- Daily cleaning and organizing of the center and camp materials.
- Report daily to Center Director and/or Camp Director.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working with children or teaching in a camp, classroom, or informal educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of STEM concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts.
- Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently.
- Ability to maintain order and discipline within a group setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate campers of varying ages, learning styles, personalities, and backgrounds.
- CPR and First Aid knowledge or certification (preferred but not required).
- Must pass a background check.
