Job Description
WSAV, the Coastal Empire and The Lowcountry’s leader in local sports programming, is seeking Sports Videographers/Productions Assistants to join our award-winning High School Football Broadcast Team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for sports who aspire to work in a play-by-play television environment.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Must have strong videography skills with a background in sports.
- Must have an understanding of football.
- Must be able to work Friday evenings beginning at 5:30pm and commit to a full 11-game season.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work outside.
Skills:
- Proficiency in videography techniques and equipment operation is a must.
- Strong understanding of broadcast terminology.
- Familiarity with live broadcast and post-production processes.
- Experience with Black Magic Ursa or Panasonic HPX-370 is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Additional Information
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 14 per week
Schedule: 12-hour shift
Work Location: In person
