SOFTGIC S.A.S. - Azure Cloud Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as Azure Cloud Engineer.

Compensation:

USD 2.5K - 3.5K/month.

• You are proficient in DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities and more:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), system architecture, and cloud security. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure: VNets, VMs, storage, and resource groups.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Manage Azure App Services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot applications using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Implement secure API delivery through Azure API Management and API Gateway.
• Enforce cloud security best practices using tools such as Defender for Cloud, Snyk, and GitHub Advanced Security.
• Maintain clear infrastructure documentation and enforce standards across environments.
• Design scalable system architectures aligned with business needs.
• Configure and manage Azure networks: subnets, VPNs, NSGs, private endpoints.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and deploying Azure-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of cloud monitoring, cost control, and API management.
• Experience in system design and documentation best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are a strong plus.
