Position Summary/Objective: The Video Editor will report to the Videographer and assist with editing raw video footage into high-quality, engaging videos and advertisements that inform, engage, and inspire audience behavior and decision-making. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to ensure video assets align with creative briefs to achieve marketing objectives. This role requires organization, attention to detail, creativity, superior time management skills, and a passion for visual storytelling. Portfolio submission required.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

• Proficiency in working with audio and video files, music, and sound design
• Edit videos to targeted length, format, and file size specifications
• Handle and organize raw and edited video files with clear naming conventions
• Export videos and facilitate mobile and web distribution
• Assist videographer on video shoots and produce content as necessary
• Interpret creative briefs and edit according to the desired objective and specifications
• Collaborate closely with team members, and communicate feedback and questions clearly and concisely

Required Minimum Qualifications/Job Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
• 1-2 years of Video Editing Experience
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and containers
• Understanding of video editing and production principles, ex. color grading and composition
• Experience editing podcast episodes (Preferred)
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (Required)
• Proficient in After Effects (Preferred)
• Product Advertising Experience (Preferred)
• Videography Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain agile
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly
