Job Description

We are building a single, finished level of a fully hand-illustrated 2D sidescrolling adventure game in Unity, titled Pour Boy: The Nitro Necromancer. This game features a unique character exploring a cursed graveyard. We are seeking a Unity developer to help bring this project to life through a revenue-share collaboration.

Requirements

We are looking for 1 Unity Developer who can:

• Handle 2D character movement, collision, and platforming logic
• Implement attack, dodge, and combat mechanics
• Work with animation events for hitboxes, projectiles, and interactables
• Build a basic dialogue and item system for interactions and collectibles
• Set up conditional quests and secret triggers
• Handle scene loading, music triggers, UI, and basic game state management
• Implement a crashing moon timer (both visual and functional)
• Export a launchable PC build (and possibly mobile later)

Compensation

• Revenue share for the finished game:
• 25% to Developer
• 25% to Animator/Artist
• 50% to the Owning company
• The game will be sold for $4.99, both digitally and in our coffee shop
• Developers retain full credit and can showcase the work in their portfolio

Additional Information

This role is part-time, contract, and temporary with expected hours of 10 – 60 per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your own hours. The work location is hybrid remote in Savannah, GA 31406. Pay ranges from $10,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year, based on the revenue share collaboration.
