Job Description

We are hiring a Freelance Website Developer to support ongoing and upcoming projects across Shopify, WordPress, React, and other platforms. This is a newly created freelance position ideal for a developer who is fast, flexible, and comfortable working across multiple code bases and CMS environments. You’ll collaborate with UI/UX designers and creative leads to bring websites and digital products to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites on Shopify, WordPress, React, and other platforms
• Convert Figma or XD designs into fully responsive front-end code
• Work directly with UI/UX designers to implement visual and functional specifications
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
• Customize themes, templates, and plugins based on project needs
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues quickly and efficiently
• Ensure all builds are SEO-optimized, mobile-responsive, and high-performing

Requirements

• Proven experience with Shopify (including Liquid), WordPress, and React
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design best practices
• Experience working alongside UI/UX teams or design leads
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate when needed
• Familiarity with Tailwind, GSAP, or animation libraries is a plus

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.85 - $28.73 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
