Job Description

We are a well-established digital marketing agency (15+ years in business) seeking a talented Freelance Website Designer to join our team on a project-by-project basis. This is an opportunity to work on ongoing design projects across various industries—from home services to e-commerce. We’re looking for an experienced, creative, and collaborative designer who understands the importance of conversion-focused design, brand consistency, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Design custom homepages and one interior page per website project
• Present two homepage layout concepts per project
• Join client-facing Zoom meetings (video required) with our Project Manager and Clients
• Complete at least two rounds of revisions after the design is selected
• Deliver final designs in Figma or Photoshop PSD format
• Follow existing or new brand/logo styles provided by clients
• Collaborate with internal teams (development, SEO, sales, engineering) via Microsoft Teams
• Work on multiple projects at once, including new sites and updates to existing ones

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• Must be available for Zoom meetings (with video) between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
• Comfortable, confident, and professional when speaking directly with clients
• 3+ years of experience in website design
• Strong, modern portfolio with responsive website designs
• Skilled in Figma and/or Adobe Photoshop (PSD)
• Strong grasp of UX/UI best practices
• Ability to work within brand guidelines and assets
• Familiarity with WordPress builder tools like Elementor or WPBakery is a plus

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Basic HTML/CSS understanding
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
• SEO-friendly landing page design
• Knowledge of web performance (Google Web Vitals)

Compensation

• Designers typically charge $500–$750 per project, which includes:
• Two homepage design concepts
• One interior page
• Two rounds of revisions
• Additional fees apply for extra design pages beyond the scope above
• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
• Flexible schedule
