Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance Presentation Designer to support executive-level communications within a leading specialty retail organization. In this role, you will create visually compelling, brand-aligned presentation materials that elevate strategic storytelling and drive clarity across key business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will understand corporate design standards, anticipate executive communication needs, and bring creativity to enhance storytelling—translating complex ideas into polished, professional presentations that resonate with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in presentation design, ideally within corporate or retail environments.
• Proven expertise designing executive-level presentations in PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with corporate brand systems.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting internal communications, investor relations, or strategic planning presentations.
• Knowledge of retail business metrics and terminology preferred.
• Experience developing materials for production events (Town Halls) and Board of Directors meetings.
• General understanding of the broader consumer landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-impact presentations for senior leadership and executive audiences, ensuring brand and corporate messaging alignment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and tailor visual narratives to support them.
• Create clean, consistent layouts that enhance storytelling and support data-driven decision-making.
• Apply best practices in visual hierarchy, typography, and formatting for maximum clarity and professionalism.
• Work independently to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visual stories.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine both messaging and layout.

Additional Information

10-week contract with extension possible.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
