Children’s Storytime YouTube Video Editor (Animation + Multi-Cam Integration)

I am launching a new children’s storytime YouTube channel, One More Story, which features live-action storytelling integrated with animated elements. The tone is calm, engaging, and family-friendly, similar to Blue’s Clues or Bear in the Big Blue House. I will provide all necessary assets, including multi-camera 4K raw footage and animated elements. I am looking for an experienced video editor who can combine the footage and animations into smooth, 6–7 minute episodes. Your role will involve editing, multi-camera cutting, audio balancing, colour grading for a warm look, and adding subtitles. Please deliver two pilot episodes in both 4K and 1080p, along with workflow documentation so I can learn the editing process for future episodes. If the pilot is successful, I hope to continue working with you for ongoing episodes. Clear communication and a collaborative approach are important. All animation assets are provided; no animation creation is required. Please send examples of similar work, especially with children’s content or live-action and animation integration.

I’m the creator of One More Story, a new children’s storytime YouTube channel based in Adelaide, Australia. The channel blends live storytelling with playful animated cut-ins to create calming, engaging content for young children and families. My background is in children’s theatre and television — I’m a performer, actor, and children’s educator, as well as a father of two. I’m passionate about making high-quality, soothing videos that feel warm, welcoming, and repeatable for kids.
