Social media content creation/editing for music release campaign
We are an independent record label preparing to release a new ambient/electronic EP in September and require a freelancer to create and edit short-form video content for our music release campaign. I am the owner and have a background in video production and graphic design, but need support due to my current workload. The project involves producing three promotional videos to be optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. The videos will feature the artist in the studio and the album cover with an abstract visualizer, using provided footage, photos, and text. You will also deliver suggestions for captions, hashtags, posting times, and provide strategic advice on content and audience engagement. Ideal candidates should have strong skills in video editing, animation, motion graphics, and color grading, and should be familiar with current social media aesthetics as well as the music marketing space—especially for ambient, electronic, or experimental music. We expect each video to be exported for all platforms, and value familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro. Experience working with independent musicians and the ability to identify additional micro-content opportunities are a plus. Before starting, we will have a video call to clarify the workflow and design strategy. Please share a reel or examples of relevant previous work.
