Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for editing video content that engages audiences and enhances our brand’s message. This role requires proficiency in various video editing software and an understanding of post-production processes, as well as experiences in previous vertical series.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, Bridge, as well as Avid.
• Experience with post-production processes including video editing, photo editing, motion graphics, and graphic design.
• Familiarity with 2D animation, 3D animation (Maya), and Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography and its application in video production.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work in video editing or related fields is highly desirable. Join us in creating compelling visual narratives that resonate with audiences!

Duties

• Edit raw footage into polished video content that aligns with project goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
• Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One to enhance visual elements.
• Manage video production tasks including filming, videography, and content creation.
• Organize and maintain digital assets using content management systems and FTP protocols.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the editing process.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $23.68 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
