Promotional Trailer for Expelliarmos

We are seeking a filmmaker to create a cinematic promotional trailer for Expelliarmos, a community-based project based in Lisbon, Portugal. The aim is to craft a short, story-driven video that introduces the purpose of the Expelliarmos page—highlighting its mission, values, and innovative vision. The trailer should begin in a simple, realistic setting (such as at home), with a natural conversation that explains what Expelliarmos is both to a character and the audience. The style should be visually engaging, mixing cinematic narrative with dynamic cutaways and lifestyle visuals. The video should convey professionalism, creativity, and authenticity. We expect the main deliverable to be between 45 seconds and 1:30 minutes, with horizontal formats for YouTube or website and optimized vertical versions for social media. Clear sound, cinematic music, and subtitles are important for impact. We can provide style references as needed. Our primary audience is young adults interested in creative and authentic digital content. The project is for our company, Expelliarmos, and we need someone available for a hybrid on-site and remote approach in Lisbon. The final delivery should be completed by the end of September.
