Job Description

Nova Staffs LLC is a growing staffing and recruitment agency dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations across the U.S. To improve our internal operations and enhance the candidate experience, we are developing a next-generation recruitment and hiring platform. We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our internal team and help build tools that streamline how we source, track, and manage talent.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of professional full stack development experience building production-level applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, React, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deploying and scaling applications.
• Solid understanding of web security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and data privacy best practices.
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues across the full stack.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with HR Tech systems (ATS, CRM, or HRIS) and integrations.
• Knowledge of front-end best practices: responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Duties

• Design and develop scalable web applications to support internal hiring processes.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party job boards, ATS, and CRM platforms.
• Collaborate with recruiters to design features that improve candidate and client experience.
• Implement secure authentication, role-based access, and data privacy best practices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay current with industry trends in HR Tech and recruitment tools.

Temporary Role Details

• Duration: 6 - 9 months (possible extension).
• Compensation: $50 – $60 per hour
