Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Clipper & Content Editor to repurpose and edit video content for social media platforms. This role will focus on taking existing footage, podcasts, long-form videos, and raw clips and transforming them into engaging, scroll-stopping short-form content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and clip long-form video into short, engaging pieces for social media platforms.
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and effects to maximize viewer retention.
• Identify the most engaging moments from raw footage, livestreams, or podcasts.
• Optimize content formats for each platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
• Repurpose existing video content into new engaging pieces that drive views and interactions.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, trending audio, and editing styles to keep content fresh.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align video edits with brand voice and campaign goals.

Requirements

• Strong skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
• Proven experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
• Ability to quickly identify and clip engaging, high-retention content.
• Creative eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual engagement.
• Familiarity with social media algorithms and trends.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating viral-style edits and meme-based content.
• Knowledge of motion graphics or simple animation.
• Previous work in fitness, lifestyle, or e-commerce content.
