Video Editor for Social Media
We are seeking a freelance video editor to create short-form social media content for a gold exploration client. The primary responsibility will be to transform raw 4K footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos (30-90 seconds, occasionally up to 2-3 minutes) tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, and YouTube Shorts in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats. We will provide all raw footage, brand assets, scripts, transcripts, and clear guidance on messaging. The ideal freelancer has a proven portfolio in social media video editing, can deliver fast turnarounds (48-72 hours per video or faster), and is comfortable with motion graphics, text animation, color grading, and audio mixing. The assignment begins with a trial project: two 30-second videos delivered in both aspect ratios. If successful, there is an opportunity for consistent, high-volume work (3+ videos weekly) and a possible long-term contract. We prioritize creativity and solid social media storytelling rather than traditional documentary editing.
