🎬 Elite Video Editor for BSIDES MEDIA (Top-Tier Only)

We are BSIDES MEDIA, a creative powerhouse based in Detroit, Michigan, specializing in high-energy music videos, branded content, and visuals that stand out. We are looking for a part-time, contract-based video editor with a cinematic style to transform our raw footage into edits that feel on par with Vevo, MTV, or top-tier festival reels. The right editor can deliver unforgettable, high-paced, and stylish edits—complete with clean transitions, motion graphics, and professional-level color grading. Strong communication and the ability to match energy, pacing, and musical rhythm are essential, along with reliability and meeting deadlines. We want a collaborator for ongoing, long-term projects who can bring an edge to every cut and doesn’t settle for the ordinary.

Budget range:
Very small project ($250 – 750 USD)

Examples:
We’re looking for edits that feel cinematic, bold, and unforgettable. Think:
• Music Videos with tight pacing, visual rhythm, and creative cuts (Vevo / MTV level).
• High-energy ads / branded content that could stop someone mid-scroll on IG, TikTok, or YouTube.
• Stylish transitions + motion graphics that elevate without looking cheesy.
• Cinematic storytelling where every cut has intention and flow.

Visual references:
• Fast-paced, stylized music videos (think Cole Bennett / Lyrical Lemonade vibe).
• Polished commercial work that looks like it belongs in a festival reel.
• Scroll-stopping short-form cuts with edge + attitude.

Bottom line: if your edit doesn’t give goosebumps in the first 10 seconds, it’s not our style.
