Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing and post-production. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling videos that engage and inform our audience, while ensuring high-quality standards throughout the editing process.

Duties

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with the creative vision.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize various software tools including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to perform video editing tasks.
• Enhance video content with motion graphics, typography, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Conduct photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One to create visually appealing content.
• Manage video production workflows including filming, FTP transfers, and content management systems.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards in both video and audio elements.
• Stay updated on industry trends in video production, graphic design, and content creation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Bridge, as well as Avid and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience with post-production processes including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with videography techniques and equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D animation software such as Maya is a plus.
• Strong understanding of typography principles and graphic design concepts.
• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant internships is highly desirable.
• A portfolio showcasing your video editing work is required for consideration.
