The business owner is preparing for a major September launch featuring a pop-up event in Santa Monica, making this an opportunity to be part of an authentic startup journey from conception to market entry. You’ll work directly with the founder across multiple business verticals, gaining exposure to international business operations, e-commerce strategy, and launch coordination in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Job Description

You’ll serve as the operational backbone for both an established food & beverage business and an emerging beauty brand, handling everything from e-commerce management to international partner coordination. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments where no two days are the same, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to make a direct impact on business success. You’ll gain invaluable experience in startup operations, international business coordination, and multi-channel e-commerce while working closely with a hands-on entrepreneur who values initiative and growth.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Manage Facebook and Instagram accounts for two restaurants.
  • Create engaging content aligned with brand identity and promotions.
  • Foster community engagement through timely responses to comments and messages.
  • Identify and reach out to relevant influencers for collaborations.

Administrative Support

  • Monitor and manage both personal and business email accounts.
  • Follow up on pending communications and coordinate with vendors.
  • Schedule and organize appointments and meetings.

E-Commerce Support

  • Manage and update product listings on platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
  • Ensure product information, images, and pricing are accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Canva).
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred; Amazon experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with the restaurant or food industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, or similar)
  • Strong background in administrative support and customer service excellence
  • Ability to multitask effectively across different business projects and priorities
