Job Description

The Full-Stack Senior Developer will serve as the technical lead for a Training & Compliance Platform project. This individual will design, implement, and oversee the development of a secure, scalable learning and compliance system tailored to support district staff training needs.

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Deployment
• Lead the design and deployment of the platform infrastructure.
• Oversee system performance, security, and scalability.
• Implement secure authentication and access management.
• Application Customization & Integration
• Configure and extend the learning platform to meet project requirements.
• Integrate third-party tools and plugins as needed.
• Ensure accessibility and mobile-first design.
• Compliance & Security
• Ensure platform meets applicable federal and state compliance standards.
• Establish data protection, encryption, and backup procedures.
• Implement role-based access and audit-ready reporting.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with project managers, administrators, and stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development best practices.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Lead testing for functionality, performance, and security.
• Ensure system stability for large-scale staff use.
• Provide ongoing optimization and technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with enterprise web applications.
• 3+ years experience with learning management systems (LMS) or similar training platforms.
• Proficiency in server-side and database technologies.
• Knowledge of authentication, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying large-scale platforms for education or public sector clients.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to educational institutions.
• Certifications in cloud infrastructure, security, or enterprise application development.

Additional Information

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Work Location: Remote
