Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with R&D teams and language experts to assess work meetings, ensure clear communication, and provide valuable feedback.
• Translate technical documents and provide simultaneous interpretation support during work meetings.
• Monitor and proofread translation output from both internal and outsourced translators.
• Compile and maintain glossaries and perform other language-related tasks as requested by senior team members.
• Accurately annotate Chinese/English data for model training, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout the process.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Work experience in translation/interpretation, with the ability to translate technical and general documents between Chinese and English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in translation/interpretation or equivalent practical experience, with strong English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant translation experience in the technology field is preferred.

Job Information

Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96,000 - $151,112 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on various factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that includes additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, well-being benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
