Job Description

Old World Christmas is seeking freelance illustrators to help bring our ornaments to life by creating detailed 4-way views (front, right side, back, left side) for sculpting both licensed and non-licensed handblown glass ornament designs. When working with licensed characters, we typically receive a single pose from the licensor, and we need the illustrator to create a set of illustrations that guide the sculptor in building the mold.

Requirements

• Strong illustration skills with the ability to translate a single pose into accurate multi-view drawings.
• Proficiency in digital illustration software (Adobe Illustrator required to provide vector art).
• Attention to proportion, detail, and style consistency.
• Ability to deliver clean, production-ready black & white linework.

Next Steps

• Create and provide a black & white 4-way test illustration of a puppy emerging from a present, capturing fine detail in the fur and facial expression to serve as a sculpting guide for a handblown glass ornament.
• Provide the number of ornament designs you could realistically complete per month.
• Provide your pay rate per completed 4-way illustration set.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8 per week
