Social Media Temp, Development and Communications
Location: United States

Project HOPE is a global health and humanitarian organization focusing on health challenges worldwide. The Social Media Manager will project the organization’s voice and mission, engaging audiences through strategic and compelling social media content across various platforms. This role requires a vibrant storyteller with a passion for global affairs, health equity, and humanitarianism.

Responsibilities

• Content & Cross-Channel Optimization: Develop and manage social media campaigns and strategies, optimizing content for increased reach and engagement.
• Content Creation: Create strategic multi-format content while optimizing platform-specific features to maximize visibility and engagement.
• Data & Analytics Reporting: Set goals and track KPIs to drive growth.
• Social Media Account Management: Manage daily social media maintenance and engagement.
• Project Management: Oversee social media initiatives and results monitoring.
• Writing & Editing: Maintain high standards in writing and editing, projecting the voice of Project HOPE.
• Community Management: Engage with the community and amplify tagged content.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of professional communications or social media experience.
• Strong passion for social media trends and engaging diverse audiences.
• Experience in establishing KPIs and leveraging analytics for performance monitoring.
• Exceptional attention to detail in editing and grammar.
• Proven storytelling skills with respect for diverse perspectives.
• Strong organizational and planning skills under pressure.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior health or humanitarian experience; international travel experience.
• Graphic design, photography, or creative arts skills.
• Multilingual abilities, e.g., Spanish or other languages.
• Experience in video shooting/editing.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Mobility in an office environment and ability to use standard office equipment.
• Communication in verbal and written form and ability to travel internationally.
• Typical office environment with minimal noise, but emergency deployments may occur in austere living conditions.
• Travel may involve extended periods and conditions classified as “hardship.”
