Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate, motivated, and social media-savvy videographer to work with our dealership client in Austin, Texas. If you thrive on capturing dynamic, high-quality content, collaborating with brands to bring their stories to life, and enjoy creating for social media, this role is for you. The footage you capture will be used for short-form clips on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, as well as occasional long-form content depending on the client’s needs. This is a contracted role where you’ll spend 10-12 hours per week with our client, receiving guidance and support from our creative team. Professional experience isn’t required, but filming experience is a plus.

Requirements

• You need to have your own mirrorless video camera and lav mics.
• Basic videography experience from personal projects, hobbies, or client work.
• Strong understanding of your camera equipment and the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Flexibility to film on location, both in-office and on the go.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client expectations.
• Punctuality and commitment to meeting filming deadlines.
• Ability to direct people and strong-minded attitude.

Responsibilities

• Filming 10-12 hours per week to start.
• Capturing high-quality content across multiple locations or in-office settings.
• Working closely with clients to understand their vision and create video content aligned with their brand goals.
• Staying attuned to social media trends to ensure the captured footage aligns with current platform best practices.
• Communicating regularly with our team to ensure client satisfaction and alignment on content goals.

Additional Information

This is a part-time role requiring filming two days a week. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour and includes on-the-job training. The role is based in-person and is categorized as part-time, contract, and freelance.
