Developing a coupon driven Cityguide

Full Stack Developer is needed in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We are developing a coupon-driven city guide platform aimed at connecting consumers with local merchants through exclusive offers and a digital pass system. The project includes a customer-facing informational website where users can purchase passes (such as a Weekend Pass or Beach Month Pass), complete with payment integration (Stripe or Mollie), email confirmation, and digital QR code distribution. Merchants can onboard via a simple signup flow, submit their offers, and access their own stats dashboard. The backend will manage all users, merchants, offers, and redemption logic, ensuring each offer can be redeemed according to set rules (e.g., once per pass, time/day restrictions). QR codes will be generated for every offer, with merchants able to scan and validate them using a web app (PWA) that provides immediate feedback and an audit trail. There will also be admin functionality for onboarding merchants, approving offers, exporting redemption data, and overseeing all platform operations. The preferred tech stack includes Next.js/React, Supabase or Firebase, and cloud-based hosting; however, we are open to discussion. Future iterations may include expanded integrations, push notifications, gamification, and support for multiple cities. We are seeking a full stack developer with graphic design skills to help bring this idea to life, using a mobile-first, lightweight design in line with a playful, positive brand identity.
