Job Description

Michael R. Arrache CPA Inc. is seeking a talented and proactive full-stack developer to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of our software, SummaStat. This is a contract position with a clear scope and a payment schedule based on key project milestones. The role involves designing and implementing software architecture, developing a user-facing web application, integrating AI/ML tools, writing core business logic, ensuring security and scalability, and collaborating directly with the founder to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing the software’s architecture and database schema.
  • Developing the user-facing web application for document upload and data visualization.
  • Integrating AI/ML tools for data parsing, including OCR and NLP, to extract data from financial documents.
  • Writing the core business logic to automatically categorize transactions and generate financial reports.
  • Ensuring the security and scalability of the application.
  • Collaborating directly with the founder to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a modern full-stack environment (e.g., Python/Django or Node.js/React).
  • Experience in AI/ML integration for data extraction and pattern recognition.
  • A strong understanding of API development and database management.
  • Experience building secure, scalable web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in the financial technology or accounting space is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

Competitive, project-based compensation, ranging from $50.00 - $70.00 per hour.
